SOCK STYLE CARTRIDGES The Filtration FIS Series cartridges are composed of unique blends of media designed for given applications. The custom blend insures chemical compatibility as well as the efficiency of the cartridge. The key to superior performance is the uniform gradient density of the filter media providing long service life and high dirt loading capability. As with most of our cartridges, the FIS Series utilizes a spiral locked metal core for structural integrity during high differential pressures. This eliminates collapse of the cartridge as well as release of collected particulate downstream. The manufacturing process provides true depth filtration and guards against channeling or by-pass experienced with other similar cartridges. This style has an internal spring that compresses assuring a positive seal when the filter vessel is closed. |
