FIFG-12, 24, 36, 72 The 4 1/2" Series fiberglass cartridges function in an outside to inside flow direction and are effective filter/coalescers. The key to success is the molded fiberglass media that is constructed of glass fibers compressed into an exact density then bonded with phenolic binders that are practically inert. The fiberglass media is the covered with a cotton outer wrap to protect it during installation of the cartridges. This style cartridge is constructed with a heavy duty center core to withstand over 75 PSI differential pressure without collapsing. The metal end caps are mechanically attached to the center core for structural integrity. The Buna N gaskets are placed onto the metal end caps with an adhesive that is resistant to hydrocarbons. |

FIFG-536 Fiberglass filter cartridges historically have proven to be very effective in removing particulate from dry gas. This filter style is supported with a spiral lock center core to withstand collapse pressure up to 45 PSID and secured with metal end caps utilizing a high resistant adhesive for all hydrocarbons. They are also available with a nominal rating of 0.5 micron. The 0.5 micron style is identified by adding the suffix "UF" to the part number. |
