Variety of cartridge configurations to replace current industry standard coalescers Available in open end style with flat gaskets End caps of open end style coalescers are bonded with head plastisol adhesive Open end series with O-ring seals Thread base construction for quick installation and positive seal Type and number of layers of fiberglass determines coalescing performance |
FICC SERIES |
TECHNICAL
DATA
Suggested pH range 5 to 9 Flow direction is outside to inside 225 degree F maximum operating temperature Different series for different efficiencies 25 micron typically used on diesel fuel or heating oils 5 micron typically used when more efficiency or tighter filtration is required 2 micron series are typically used for lighter hydrocarbons as jet fuel, kerosene, gasoline, or naptha |

COALESCING CARTRIDGES
|
||
| FICCP SERIES | ||
| The "CP" Series coalescing cartridge is an enhanced version of the FICC series. This series has a pleated cellulose pre-filter to remove solid contaminants from the hydrocarbon fluid. The removal of solids prolongs the life of the dense fiberglass coalescing media resulting in extended service life thus reducing overall cost of filtration/separation. The physical dimensions and configuration of this series are the same as the FICC series. The are available in 1 micron particle retention for critical coalescing applications. | Note: Our coalescers are recommended for industrial coalescing applications in refineries and other Non-API qualified applications. Coalscers for API or aviation applications are to be addressed on a case by case basis. | ||
